A play on the popular Mexican drink Agua de Tamarindo, this cocktail features an orange, tamarind, honey and thyme reduction as a rich, aromatic base – lightened and brought to life by a healthy topping of Mionetto! Served with dehydrated citrus, charred thyme and topped with cinnamon!

While the drink is a take on a Mexican traditional beverage, Tamarind is an ingredient widely used around the world. My wife and I met friends at a restaurant in Colombo, Sri Lanka where we tried this complex and delicious fruit in a drink for the first time. I began experimenting with other cocktails and found it perfectly paired with Prosecco.
