Stephane's Cocktail Recipe
1oz espresso; 1oz Grand Marnier;
1oz Montenegro Amaro; 0.5 oz lemon;
1 dash angostura. Shake and fine strain on ice, top with Mionetto.
What inspired the drink?
A play on an espresso tonic, with the bitter tang coming from the montenegro instead of tonic. The ideal of the cocktail is aperitivo, or something to drink after sleeping in until 11am. I went with all liqueurs to match the sweetness with the acidity, instead of a base spirit with syrup.
