Kate's Cocktail Recipe

This recipe is deceptively easy, but will be ultra impressive to your guests! Heat 3 oz whole milk and a healthy dollop of coconut cream. Set aside before it comes to a boil. In a separate bowl, combine the juice of 1 orange, the juice of 1 lime, 1 cup of Mionetto Prosecco, 1.75 oz of Tullamore Dew XO and 0.75 oz of Triple Sec (or your favourite orange liqueur). Lead with your heart when it comes to adding vanilla extract and angostura aromatic bitters. Combine both mixtures and let coagulate for at least 30 minutes. Then, filter the mixture twice or even three times using a coffee filter or cheesecloth. This is the most time consuming part, but it’s well worth it! I like to refrigerate the end product before enjoying, but it’s a personal preference. Enjoy in your favourite vessel with enough room to top with more Mionetto. Garnish once again to your heart’s content potentially with a citrus wheel or a Twizzler creamsicle stir stick – provided they arrive in time for your competition, er – party!

What inspired the drink?

The orange of the bottle combined with the mousse of the prosecco made creamsicle the obvious choice, to me!
