David's Cocktail Recipe

1oz Bosc Pear and St. Germain infused Honey Syrup (1:1)
1.25oz Poli Gran Bassano Bianco Vermouth
4oz Mionetto Prosecco

Build in a sling glass, top with ice.
Garnish with fresh sage leaves and serve with straw

What inspired the drink?

I wanted Mionetto to be at the core of my inspiration, so I pictured myself at the vineyard in Italy. I took into account Mionetto's tasting notes of pear, honey and elderflower, and the terroir of the region. I wanted to build a cocktail that paid homage to the land and to the people that grow and harvest the grapes. A tall, easy-drinking beverage perfect after a long day working in the vineyards. No shaking or stirring required, and just a few ingredients that highlight the delicacies of Mionetto. Light and refreshing as an early evening breeze trickling down the hills around Valdobbiadene.
