Patrick's Cocktail Recipe
This recipe features 1.25oz of Luxardo Bitter Bianco liquor fatwashed with Pecorino Romano cheese, 1oz of watermelon peel and daylily stem syrup, 0.25oz of japanese plum wine 2 dashes of Amer Kebek walnut bitters and, to top it all off, 3oz of Mionetto Prosecco. This all results in a delightfully light cocktail with a strong balance between herbaceous, nutty, and fruity, wich is all supported by the light saltiness of the Romano cheese.
What inspired the drink?
I was inspired by the classic Mediterranean appetizer of cured ham, cheese and melon, wich I decided to work in a cocktail to support Mionetto while still letting it shine through the drink
