Ellie's Cocktail Recipe

1/2tsp “fizzy rocks”:
(1/2cup icing sugar, 1/2cup sugar, 1 1/2tbsp citric acid, 1tbsp bicarbonate of soda, 1tsp edible orange glitter mixed with 1tbsp orange liqueur and 1tsp orange flavouring until “sand” like then left to dry)
1tsp blood orange granita:
(Mix juice of 2 blood oranges and 1 lemon with 60ml orange liqueur and 1tbsp sugar to taste… freeze in container, fluffing with fork every 30 mins)

What inspired the drink?

My family and I went to Sorrento when I was a teen and I have such fond memories of the Italian sun, great food and a different trio of gelato every night… but my favourite part of the trip was seeing Pompeii and Mount Versuvius! I thought it’d be fun to recreate it in cocktail form!
