The Art Of consists of
1.5 oz. of chamomile infused aged rum
0.5 oz. of Select Aperitivo
0.5 oz. of St. Germaine Elderflower Liqueur
0.75 oz. of Salted Pineapple & Passionfruit Cordial
0.25 oz. of fresh pulled espresso
What inspired the drink?
I based my drink off the bright colour of Select Aperitivo which I love for its deep red tone. Inspired by my love for Italy's history and landscape as well as the drinking and dining culture that comes with it, I chose to create an aperitif style cocktail that marries the refreshing intensity of a Bicicletta and paired it with ingredients reminiscent of a Jungle Bird. Espresso is used in this cocktail for aroma and acidity in place of citrus. This drrink is meant to capture the art of cocktails, the art of relaxation, and the art of Prosecco making, hence the name.
