Hope's Cocktail Recipe

1 oz Amaro Nonino
1 1/2 oz Dolin de Chambéry infused with saffron, rose and orange zest for 36 hours
1/4 oz Peychaud’s Bitters
1/2 oz Lime Juice
2 dashes Saffron Bitters
1 egg white
4 oz Mionetto Prosecco

Method: In a shaker, combine all ingredients except for Mionetto Prosecco (we will save that for the end). Give it a very vigorous shake, add ice and shake vigorously once again, ensuring the frothiness of the egg white. Continue by fine straining the cocktail into a saffron garnished collins glass. Finish by topping off the cocktail with Mionetto Prosecco. Leaving you with a thick and velvety foam that tastes of Prosecco.

What inspired the drink?

"Oh, Mio My" is a bittersweet and bubbly delight. My inspiration behind this cocktail was to create something unique, be bold and explore new flavours. I chose to follow the subtle spice and floral notes that I taste within Mionetto Prosecco. I envisioned a bright and contrasting cocktail. In order to obtain what I desired I wanted to play with flavours that stand out but also complement each other in all the right ways. Playing with such bold flavours can be tricky, it's all about finding the perfect quantity of each ingredient. Luckily I was up for the challenge.
