Orange and bubbly are the name of the game. A simple, refreshing, italian inspired cocktail that highlights the beautiful flavour of Mionetto Prosecco rounded by sweet orange creamy gelato. A star shaped cut-out of gelato is placed gently at the bottom of the glass with Mionetto Prosecco poured over and garnished with garden fresh mint.
-3oz Orange Gelato*
-4oz Mionetto Prosecco
Orange Gelato:
-2/3 Cup Fresh Orange Juice
-2 Tbsp Orange Zest
-1 Cup Water
-6 Egg Yolk
-3/4 Cup Sugar
-1 Cup Heavy Cream
What inspired the drink?
My fiance and I plan to get married this summer, with our honeymoon next year in Italy. So romance and Italian vibes are a plenty right now. Romeo and Juliet perfectly encompassed two lovers coming from separate worlds, set in Italy, with all the love and drama of you would expect in a great cocktail.
